I can read and listen to music at the same time. Shit, I can sing along and read at the same time.
I can NOT do that. The camera phone may be the cheapest, but getting it is just taking money away from the other things which are MUCH cooler things.
ION, I cooked tonight, like back how I used to cook and make boring lists for y'all. Like this:
grilled a whole package of chicken thighs
grilled a salmon fillet
sauted/steamed collard greens with garlic
brown rice with ginger
brewed some decaf for iced decaf
You now how much I loved that short curly hairdo you had back when.
Well, I'm halfway there.
Besides which - perfect for summer.
This is true.
Maybe once I get it all worked out I'ma show up a msbelle's for dinner.
DINNER at my house, or something. I am trying to take in my lunch at least 3 days a week. Today I failed and tomorrow I have plans, so I need to have things for Thurs. & Friday, plus dinners.
msbelle, knitting didn't make your list?
This is true.
Plus, maximum summer humidity equals maximum curls.
Woot! A's are back to .500. Unfuckingbelievable. They've gone 24-9 since they were a season-worst 15 games below .500 on May 29. Reel in Texas, and set your gunsight on Anaheim.
Hec, if you were trying to arrange dinner in SF for about 8-10 people at a moderately priced restaurant, where would you go?

Not when your hair is too short to curl. grumblegrumble....

Depends on the night, but Chow is excellent, and has two locations. One in the Castro and one on 9th near Lincoln. We took a pack of Buffistas to Chow when Susan W. was visiting. Also excellent bargains for the price: The Citrus Club (Asian Noodle house on Haight - really really good), Cha Cha Cha (though it'll tend to be crowded), Hunan (which is...north of Downtown, East of North Beach. But it's big enough to handle a party that size and they take reservations).
Also, one of my all-time favorite restaurants, Helmand in North Beach, on Broadway near Columbus, is very affordable. Afghanistan food. Extraordinarily yummy.
