Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, Travelocity. Don't show me a potential departure date of July 20th to then tell me that July 20th is not a potential departure date. You're wasting my time and your bandwidth.

Ta!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is that the name of the store? That's FANTASTIC.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

having crappy day. Went to vintage clothing store and bought funky black fully lined dress that has harlaquin diamonds around the bodice and skirt and a pair of bright red chinese slippers.

day still crappy but I'm cuter.

That does sound very cute indeed. We might need some Megan pictures in the aforementioned ensemble.

Okay, I'm picture a dress with a full skirt...or is it more of a sheath?

You'd be having a good day if you wore your citrus dress.

Timelies. Congrats to Ms. msbelle on quitting (and the new job, natch).

Wow - it's 84 in CT, Kristin? I haven't been out yet, but, accoriding to the Weather Channel.com, it's still only around 72 here in Boston. I hope that lasts through the afternoon. - can't deal with anything much above 77 once it gets humid (and it's wicked foggy, so that may be why it's not hotter).

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Frank, we're up to 88. Keep in mind I'm on the coast.

We haven't gone below 85 and humid in days.

Wow, amazing what a difference a hunderd miles or so makes. Also? Reconfirms my desire to move in no direction other than further north.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Weird that it's that warm in the northeast--I checked the forecast for Alabama today just to get an idea of how bad it's going to be next week, and it's mid-80's and thunderstorms as far as the eye can see. For Alabama in June that's downright chilly. Which is not to say that I'm not planning to swing by Costco or Target for some more shorts, or desperately looking for my sandals, which I haven't had cause to wear since last September.
