Generally speaking, bottoms are made of sterner stuff than (non-sweater, non-sweatshirt, non-heavy) tops.
I've never seen a white blouse that doesn't let the bra color show through, and bra straps and hooks are visible, even when the color isn't, through a blouse or T shirt. It's just a fool's errand.

I wear whatever knickers happen to be clean on any given day, with whatever trousers are closest to me on my bedroom floor. I can't begin to describe how low matching the two is on my list of priorities. But then, I work in a place where I'm lucky if I don't get a bucketful of mud down said knickers by the end of the day.
(stares in confusion at people who wear all-white skirts.)
