The status is NOT quo.

The big swirly thing is staying here for now, you shameless thing you! Hee. You're funny.

Should I plant the tomato in a big pot or can I attempt to put it in the really bad soil around here?

I would definitely put it in a big pot with good potting soil. Be sure you feed it as well as watering it, and it will grow pretty tomatoes for you.

Go and eat something, Kristin.
The problem is that I don't feel like driving more than ten miles or so, but I also don't feel like eating alone. Since my local friends and family appear to be off having lives or something, I've thus far managed only to eat a single slice of processed American "cheese".

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, so I need a new big pot then. And some more planting soil for it. My current mega-pots have a tangle of orange bergamont mint in one and a pixie-ish bouganvilla in another. So I am buying, and then planting, tomorrow.

Cherry tomatoes are small. Don't know about cherry tomato plants.
Thanks, Jesse. He had some "samples" of the tomatoes that this variety will grow and they were normal-sized cherry tomatoes so I am thinking maybe the plant just stays kinda small. I love real tomato flavor.
but I also don't feel like eating alone
Hmm... Wait a few weeks and come here for lunch? I shall have home-grown tomatoes, home-grown basil and Trader Joe's supplies my fresh mozzarella needs. I also have farmer's market pesto if that lily needs any additional gilding...

Reminds me, I am hungry. And not likely to wait six weeks to eat, either. I need to find food.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should try to grow something someday... I mean, shit, at least herbs in a pot or something. I finally had a plant thrive under my care at my old job, so I know longer feel like the plant slayer.

And am very excited to go pick up pizza skins shortly, as I have had a ridiculous craving for them for WEEKS. Well, I've been wanting regular potato skins, but the Uno's dealies are the closest to home.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have basil and parsley growing in pots, and it's way more work than it needs to be. Those suckers need an assload of watering to stop them from pouting. Not sure if it's worth it.

hip deep in pie

Cherry tomato plants are very small. Vine types might need staking, but the ones a grew a few years ago didn't.

My vacuum cleaner broke while madly cleaning. I am not having a fun day.

the Uno's dealies
They have this toast thing with cheese and arugula on it that is nummy.

Growing stuff isn't always hard. Herbs in a pot can be fun to grow.

And I, personally, can pimp mint as being quite ignorance friendly. I abandon mine at random times and most of it just keeps on making more baby mint plants. Great stuff.

Basil pouts like a teen queen. Mine is by my door, so I can see it when it gets all melodramatic.

My sage either thrives or dies, there is no middle ground for it. But I have no idea why.

Never tried parsley. It's too cheap at the market.

I just need a teleporter.
I've been saying...

Oh, and I planted the lilliput tomato in a gallon pot cause I had one. It's also by the door so I can watch it. If it needs staking, I am there. Otherwise, I want my damn tomatoes.

I have 3 tin planters on my balcony containing a minirosebush, verbena, snapdragons, violas, alyssum, salvia and a wildly growing lemon thyme plant.

I like growing stuff.

I found a dress for the wedding. It's black with tiny white polkadots, v-wrap neck (yikes, cleavage) sundress, mid-calf length with a slight flare and 2 layers,. Trimmed with teeny white scallops. Silky fabric, may actually be, but has no labels. I need to put in a couple of tucks on account of the boobs, but it is doable.

Now how to accessorize it? I figure I'll wear my black spectatorish (?) anklestrap heels. Need to find an appropriate wrap in case the church and reception are cold. Juliana, Kat,Jesse, msbelle, anyone? You guys are good with these sorts of things.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I would suggest a pink wrap. Pink and black/white look fab together.
