I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

I chew ice too (though I try not to) but sometimes hearing other people do it just makes my jaw hurt.

Check and see if your co-workers are IMing about you

We have an open-mockery policy at my office. And besides, 90% of my coworkers are gone, so not so much with the covert snarking, I'm thinking.

She does that too. I mean, she has an impressive ouevre of things that make it impossible for me to pay attention to anything for more than a minute or two at a time.

oh, I HATE that. I have a coworker that hums TUNELESSLY when she works. She also talks to herself.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ION, I thought movies were on PPV before they were on DVD? Is it the opposite?

doing for the forth. I'm going to be straightening up my endnotes and bibliography. No this is good news. It means I've got the rest of my book in shape where I can finally do this. Speaking of which - I'm leaning towards Chicago Style over MLA formatting for endnotes and bibliography-seems slightly more informal and more appropriate for a work aimed at a popular audience. Buffista thoughts?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All very nice plans, except for the Stephanies, who have my sympathy.

I'm going to go to Seattle and veg and nap and watch Veronica Mars and eat sushi and play with sparklers and take a bath in a real tub and buy lipstick and nap and hopefully babysit just a little so Plei can do whatever she wants for an hour and nap.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

hmm.. today is the art walk in Niles. Matt is oncall so we have to stick close to home. There is a sweet potato queen party on the 2nd ( after I work). there are plans to rework the closet and possible reanarnge the bedroom , which invovles fixing the bed I think. possibly the border will be steamed off ( and scraped and sanded ) the bathroom wall near the ceiling. and since I have a cholesteral test on the 5th at 845am - there will be no food and only water after 830pm on the 4th. Who was the idiot that schedualed that one? So I am guessing an early dinner. possibly steaks.

4th of July plans are having my brother, my MiL, SiL and her family over for a bbq then hopefully, if it's not foggy watch the fireworks they shoot off in the marina. If it is foggy, then we will make the relatives depart and drive around until we find some fireworks to watch. Then we are off to Vegas, baby! YAY!
