So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

After I got over the shock of the taste, I love Diet Coke w/Splenda.

Am awaiting a Pepsi version to compare. I'm sad that Pepsi's lime version was not limey enough, because their vanilla wiped the floor with Coke's ass. Diet cola HG remains Diet RC.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Bastard kin to iced coffee, black, no sugar, maybe?

Except that black iced coffee is something I'd actually drink.

Without the sugar (or replacement sweeteners), Coke should taste like kola bean juice plus caffiene. Whatever that tastes like.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Without the sugar (or replacement sweeteners), Coke should taste like kola bean juice plus caffiene. Whatever that tastes like.

I'm guess it'd be something like bitters.

What is even happening?

With no sweetener? I took ita's original question to mean sweetener of any kind, even though she said no sugar.

ita?

Right, and I'm guestimating it might be somewhat similar, though in no way the same to black, unsweetened, cold coffee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DH likes this stuff called Cola Tonic, made from cola nuts, it's like coke but less, sort of. But still sweetened.

It seems like you ought to be able to get cola extract without the sugar, but I don't know where.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I took ita's original question to mean sweetener of any kind, even though she said no sugar.

Does normal coke have non-sugar sweetener? I figured it was all sugars, and that's what I was meaning.

I'm drinking it right now, AIFG!

What is even happening?

I think it has corn syrup, in the U.S.

With no sweetener?

I've never put any kind of sweetener in my coffee, iced or otherwise.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I think normal coke is corn syrup for the sweetener.

ION, I just finished my lunch of a very yummy shrimp salad. Which I made. I rock.
