For me, low rise pants are of the devil.
low-rise cropped jeans fit me like a normal person. I need to buy a lot of them before they go out of style.

Low rise jeans give me hips from the front. God bless them.

Me too. They're the only jeans I can wear without gapping at the waist and folding up the cuffs.
What Allyson, ita, and Hil said.
Okay, seeking food now.

Meanwhile, I'm asking WHEN WILL THE CAPRI PHASE END? I can't stand them on me. They make me look squat. I need summer weight pants, no fuss, cotton preferably, actually I need everything they're selling in capris, but in the long pant style, and not low rise. When I wear them, and sit, my ass hangs, or at least, there's too much gap.
Ugh. I had a nice lunch with a summer associate today and just found out that for the entire lunch, I thought he was the other African law student with the unpronounceable name, which I apparently called him at least three or four times. Why did no one tell me?! I feel like an idiot.
WHEN WILL THE CAPRI PHASE END?
Wrod. I couldn't find one skirt last year and bought a pair of capris just so I'd have something lightweight to wear. I was so thrilled to see skirts back in fashion. Too bad I'm broke.
Why did no one tell me?! I feel like an idiot.
Because telling them would make everyone have to acknowledge the whole idiot thing. And then there might be apologies and squirming and stuff. This way, you just send him an apologetic email, and your faces can pretend it never happened.
They took the easy way out. I do too, a lot.
In my normal body, I am not curvy. In my pregger body, I am very curvy indeed, especially in the belly area. In my nursing body, I have a whole lot more curve than usual. It's so weird that my normal body is just a memory at this point.
Timelies all!
Haven't measured myself lately, but at last check I had either an 8 inch(upper hips) or 7 inch(lower hips) differential. There's a reason low-rise pants will not work for me.
Just got back from my twice-yearly haircut(ok, more of a trim/evening-out the ends) and my hair is full of product and sproingy.
