Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We should get together, Perkins.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I want to be in Jessica's time zone.

I have 3 hours and 45 minutes left.

(Erin, I thought you were an hour earlier than NY-- are you?)

eta: Definitely, Burrell. I am contemplating taking a personal day that Friday so I have more time in LA. We shall see though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

the longest workday EVAH.

I've got a whole week of 'em coming up, since we just started summer hours. (In theory, summer hours give us more time off. In practice, I'm getting a few extra vacation days this year in exchange for 10 weeks of coming in an hour early every day.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My day has gone very fast, as I've had challenging work that I completed quickly to make up for excessive slackdom last week.

Which is kinda sad when I realize I could be more productive....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know I could be more productive. Just as long as my boss doesn't, I should be fine.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

dude, the day goes FAST when you have stuff to do and people working around you. What a difference. I am gonna be tuckered out by the end of the week.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So your first day was good, msbelle?

Unless I want to clean my office, which I don't, I really don't have anything to do right now.

Oh well.

And a dog.

Which is funny. Sometimes my boss's dog comes to say 'hi' and I'm deep in concentration so I start petting her without even being conscious of it.

Pets have trained me well.

Zombie dogs. They really didn't need to use that picture.

Congrats, msbelle, on liking day 1!
