Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Bleh, sara. I hate those confluences of crap. When's your bday?

poop on annoying - and are not stupid, are normal, cute and normal.

Kat, for why are you torturing the lori?

tea shouldn't be sweet.

LALAers, psst, it's already after 5.

I love the linen, but my linen skirts tend towards either flippy fun or look at my fantastic ass and I am not going for either this first week at the new office. I do think I will wear linen pants though, maybe Thursday.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I totally use the linen excuse, and happily, but I wondered if I was the only one. Besides, linen is nice. And I don't feel like a clothing failure when it wrinkles because it's known for it. Other wrinkled things can't be explained so easily.

OK, so I'm really blase about age and birthdays and all that. No desire really to do anything for/about them, no fanfare. But apparently the upcoming one along with some other issues is bugging me. SO ANNOYING AND STUPID.
I never knew sarameg was me until now.
tea shouldn't be sweet.
Never ever ever.

In a couple weeks. It's one they make specific greeting cards for. But really, just another day, not like I remember how old I am most days anyway. SO I CAN STOP BEING CRANKY ALREADY.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I use the I'm-Just-Too-Damn-Lazy-To-Iron excuse, which is the reason for my unique "relaxed" style.

Dear sara,

because I love you so much, I will be cranky for you and we all know what that means. I'll start now:

What's wrong with all the fucking people, with the standing in my way and being slow and being nasty. For example, spitting. Seriously, when did it become ok to just spit on the sidewalk, not in the gutter or a patch of grass or, for god's sake in a napkin or tissue, nope, just right there in the middle of the sidewalk, right in front of where I am about to step. I am convinced the spitting men of the world are the same ones who think hissing at a woman is some sort of turn on or mating call. There are too many people in the world and too many of them are stupidhead nasties. I really should be allowed to walk around with a stun gun and go to town, it would be such a nicer place.

You're welcome.

Love, Me

I combine this with the "Ouch, I burn myself if I try to iron" reasoning.

Works wonders.

I pay the dry cleaner to take the risks for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Milky sweet tea is medicine for what ails you. Step off.

Oy. I went to Robinson's May a couple weeks ago. I think I hate that store. I did end up with a linen/nylon dusky rose trenchcoat for $60, but still. It was the stress.

Hot? Totally. Milky and kinda sweet tea is the best comfort-y thing.

But cold/iced tea? It's like flat soda and just too sweet for me.
