Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was planning to go this year until I found out it was supposed to be 94 tomorrow.

There is that. But I've never been! And I refuse to run the AC in the daytime at home anyway.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Perkins, IIRC, some admirers of the NY Mermaid Parade held a West Coast version here in SF last month. If it did well enough and they decide to give it another go, you'll get a chance next year, without the 94° weather.

Also, I now officially suck worse than Teppy, since I still haven't written to you. Our weekend schedules keep changing as Emmett's baseball schedule metastasizes; it was supposed to be one game a month, and now it's ballooned to one tournament (4 games) a weekend, with additional games Monday and Tuesday nights if the weekend games go well, and even attempting to plan any grown-up stuff around all of that has made both Hec and me slightly hysterical.

Actually, he is even now sprinting out toward Contra Costa with Emmett, trying to make a 5:30 game in Pleasant Hill. If Emmett isn't there by 5:45, their team forfeits. Grr, argh.

Anyhow, to sum up: I suck.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No worries, JZ. I haven't been exactly zealous about calling you. Maybe after the 4th of July weekend things will be easier to plan.

Pumpkin Ginger muffin.

I wish it would get up to 94 here. I am tired of clouds.

Send the clouds to me!

Today was my last at work.

giraffe mode

I think I may be the only person on the board, other than maybe Consuela, who liked it but didn't love it

Opps, I've been caught in my skimming! BB and Star Wars are the only two movies we've seen in a while so I'm out of suggestions. I want to see Mr. & Mrs. Smith but lord only knows when we'll be able to get time to see it. I'm just thankful that the kid chose dinner at Disneyland instead of seeing Herbie or Bewitched because I so cannot tolerate either of those (it's a Lindsay Lohan/Will Ferrell thing).

eta: Yay Kat!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are having a friend to dinner tonight. Tomorrow, dog class, housecleaning and to see "Mad Hot Ballroom". Leftovers and catching up with TiVo on Sunday. Plus getting some writing done whenever.

Always Anti-fascist!

I don't know. But I haven't done anything really special on weekends in a really long time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Meanwhile, I am in TLC nerd heaven tonight, as they are showing a special While You Were Out/What Not To Wear doublecross.
