My high school turns 100 tomorrow so we are going to the ceremony (my mom's the class of '55 so they have a big to-do in the thing) then we are going to Disneyland for dinner for my youngest's birthday celebration.
What are you doing this weekend?

Theoretically, the Mermaid Parade tomorrow, assuming I don't wake up actually sick. Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Sunday. Laundry and living room de-papering somewhere in there.
Not much, so far. I want to go see a movie or two, and I am going to try to get everything but the clothes unpacked and put away this weekend so I can figure out new places to store my clothes.
eta: I want to go to the Mermaid parade. That looks fun.
Not surprising I can't keep up.

So much news! What happened with your ring? Because I'm really enjoying my looking and sitting bracelet.
It's really great looking when sized perfectly. I'm really loving it. you were so right about the buying it thing. Isn't it nice when people admit you are right.
Jesse, that sounds like fun!
Perkins, I heartily recommend Batman Beyond but the unpacking does not sound like much fun at all.

I was planning to go this year until I found out it was supposed to be 94 tomorrow. So instead I'm planning to stay inside with my air-conditioner.

I also think it's right when people admit you are the nice(est), but that's just me.
Dawn, I saw BB last weekend. I think I may be the only person on the board, other than maybe Consuela, who liked it but didn't love it.

Jessica is me.

There is that. But I've never been! And I refuse to run the AC in the daytime at home anyway.
Perkins, IIRC, some admirers of the NY Mermaid Parade held a West Coast version here in SF last month. If it did well enough and they decide to give it another go, you'll get a chance next year, without the 94° weather.
Also, I now officially suck worse than Teppy, since I still haven't written to you. Our weekend schedules keep changing as Emmett's baseball schedule metastasizes; it was supposed to be one game a month, and now it's ballooned to one tournament (4 games) a weekend, with additional games Monday and Tuesday nights if the weekend games go well, and even attempting to plan any grown-up stuff around all of that has made both Hec and me slightly hysterical.
Actually, he is even now sprinting out toward Contra Costa with Emmett, trying to make a 5:30 game in Pleasant Hill. If Emmett isn't there by 5:45, their team forfeits. Grr, argh.
Anyhow, to sum up: I suck.
