It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

HAPPY TEPPY DAY!!!

Did anyone see the House episode that got rerun last night ("Damned if you do") and feel like filling me in on the last 10 minutes?

House had an epiphany, and the patient was cured with an aspirin! Or possibly some dangerously invasive surgery. (No, I didn't see it. Just a guess.)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Birthday Hippo!

Hee! I love it!

In other news, somebody left a small blue plastic monkey on my desk when I came in this morning....

You're the latest victim of random workplace monkeying....

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Perkins, the very last thing that happens in that episode (explaining why it's beloved by slashers):

Wilson and House to go House's place for Christmas (despite the fact that Wilson is both married and Jewish) and eat Chinese food while a montage plays. We see Chase at a Catholic mass, but then he walks out, and House and Wilson are laughing and happy, and all the while, it's Hugh Laurie playing "Silent Night" on the piano.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Just a guess.

Hee. That reminds me, I forgot to say thanks for the recap, Sumi. eta: and Dana! Yay for the slash.

ION, I just got a call from my old State Farm agency in Maine, saying that I still have an active renter's policy on the my apartment there, despite the fact that I haven't lived there for over 6 years.

WTF?

What is even happening?

House had an epiphany, and the patient was cured with an aspirin! Or possibly some dangerously invasive surgery. (No, I didn't see it. Just a guess.)

What are you--some kind of Jedi?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm totally recommending Austin C. to all my friends who use Sprint and need customer service.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm very glad it looks like you'll get a new battery, Tom, but that email would have me nervously backing away from the computer.

That was my exact reaction.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm very glad it looks like you'll get a new battery, Tom, but that email would have me nervously backing away from the computer.

I'm all for good customer service, but this creeped me out as well.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Congratulations Steph! For living! All the way to today!

I just listened to the TAL episode with the MCI customer service ("Middle of Nowhere") and so Austin scares me.

That was a fun show.
