This morning Leif was looking up at the ceiling fan and announed. "I don't like the fan". I asked him why and he replied "I need to break it". I'm nervous that he'll find a way to do it. Earlier in the morning he got into the toilet paper supply and built a toilet paper tower taller than he is.

When my nephew was wee, he was very suspicious of ceiling fans. Once he'd notice them, he'd glare at them for minutes on end, until something else distracted him.

Of course now, he's more likely to try to get something caught on the fan. Oh the fun when he got a helium filled balloon tied to it!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Cool shopping site that is being put towards my motivation to go into work, since I forbid myself to look at it here.

Damn, that stuff is fabulous.

Evil genius apples don't fall far from the tree, do they?

ita's site inspired me to think about buying local art. I was looking at these rings at the Art College's student art store yesterday. They're silver, and have a very rough setting into which little balls of felted wool are set. They're gorgeous. If I buy any jewellry, it's going to be that.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Sophia, I am really, really hating all that distance between us, as it is preventing me from hating on your bitchhead boss, the house's new owners who lied to your old landlord, whoever has your security deposit (I suspect the new owners rather than the old landlord's lawyer because they are already proven LIARS), and the new landlords who keep dicking you around on the move-in date and the heat and the lease.

I can't even help you move! All I can do is hate them from afar. I wish them blight, and pox, and scrofula, and parasites.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

"I need to break it".

At least he's honest and forthright in his eviltude.

Sophia--I wish for a break for you That's a lot of pain-in-the-assedness for one move.

I need to have a smackdown with one of the mission support teams. Not looking forward to this. They duplicate each others' efforts ALL THE FREAKING TIME and it makes us look bad.

So I'm gonna try to organize them. It won't be pretty. It will be worse than cats!

I've been reading the Harry Potter books (mainly because I liked the movies) and find that Hermione reminds me of my daughter. Meanwhile I think the Weasley twins remind me of Leif, or perhaps it's the bludger that reminds me of Leif.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Curse you, ita! I now need this shirt and this skirt.
