Before I had to pay gas, my summer/winter cost difference was something like $150/$10.

Now, of course.....

I'm getting really fed up with the management at the complex, though.

I've reluctantly come to the conclusion I don't like a dear friend's husband. He's not inherently bad, he's just...selfish and immature and not doing anything to make their situation improve and the onus falls all on her and she lets it. He really needs to grow up and get to it. Two kids, one with Big Issues, it needs to stop being all about your needs all the time. Urmph.

Cranky.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good lord, Sophia -- what a lot of stress! They told you heat was included, and have now changed their minds? That doesn't seem right.

Narrator -- If she doesn't already know it, you should introduce your niece to the AAMilne poem about how awesome being six is. Edit: Here [link]

I have the official OK to slack -- I told the woman I'm working with that I pretty much need to sit down with her before I can really do anything, and she's out of the office most of the day, as it turns out. So that's nice.

Now tagless for your comfort.

So far, I have not had to find out. I get to be mean. I'm the mommy.

There's a Build-a-Bear five minutes from our house. I'll know to avoid it in the future.

Thrive to spite them

I haven't gotten my utility bill yet, it will be my first, so I don't know what to expect and it's driving me crazy. I'm worried it will be sky high.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sophia -- does your lease say no heating, it doesn't seem right that they can just change it if you've signed something.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I first read this as 'utility belt'. I blame this board.

What is even happening?

So far, I've read that to both Ben and Julia on their sixth birthdays. Someone ping me in April, for Chris.

(really need to stop typing a "t" at the end of his name)

I spotted one at the mall, but it was a while before my kids were aware of it. I have the impression that it is pricey, but haven't checked it out, because I think it would be like crack.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I haven't signed anything. Basically they don't seem to want me to sign until they are ready for me to move in. It is driving me CRAZY! it i smaking me regret going back on my plan to never rent from a company, only an individual.

Trust my rage

DH lived in Columbus, GA for a year, 2 years ago. Whenever I visited him, I hated it with a passion stronger than I've hated any place we've ever lived.

Atlanta, OTOH, was very cool (not in temperature, though). Great restaurants, fun stuff to do, and good shopping. After about 2 visits, DH and I started having my visits in Atlanta only.
