I've heard a crazy story about him going around the clock and not sleeping for days, then getting Bryan Singer to come and direct for a day so he could sleep.
That was an April Fool's joke for kongisking.net.

Really? That is good to know.
HA! Found my chair! Oh, sweet chair, you fit the small of my back so well. Let's never be parted again.
So there's a person I know who wrote in her lj that she didn't do anything for Father's Day because she makes sure she tells people how much she appreciates them all the time and doesn't need a madeup holiday to tell her to. Which was followed by a whole lot of comments telling her a) it wasn't about her, b) that the commenter (not her father) was disappointed not to get father's day wishes from his/her child, and c) wishing the ljer's father a happy father's day.
Now, these are family friends, so there may be banter I'm not seeing. Also, I don't know whether her father cares or not -- if he does, that might have influenced some of the commenters. But honestly, what is up with people feeling they have the right to tell other people what to do within their own family? Not even telling, really, because she made the comment, they're allowed to have opinions -- but scolding and shaming?
Just needed to get that out of my system, as I feel it would be kind of rude to go reply to the commenters with "nose, in business, other people's." Plus one of the commenters has historically pissed me off a lot in person as well, so I'm not really objective.
(ETA: I can sort of see how people might be resentful, honestly, if they appreciate the day and she's seeming disdainful of it -- celebrating father's day doesn't mean you don't show your appreciation at other times, of course!)
It's freaky that if Jackson shaved and got a haircut he would now look like one of my old roomates.

Careful! You might get addicted to that chair, and then some evil senior webcam boy will boil your bunny, forcing you to seek the swimmy waters of salvation.

People canna bear not to be all up in each other's business.
Which, there's the issue of This is not your business, and then there's the issue of Why are you butting in on my business in public?
Having manners is vastly underrated. It's entirely possible to get away with being a buttinsky if you have manners.
It's entirely possible to get away with being a buttinsky if you have manners.
Apparently, it's also possible to get away with it if you evince no concern whatsoever about manners but surround yourself with people who do care. People just can't find a way to tell you to butt out politely so they get kind of stuck. And then you can claim to be forthright and no-bullshit. When really you're just Bill O'Reilly.
Er, not Nutty, obviously. This commenter that irks me.
I think that there is a manners exception to callnig people on their buttinskyism. Anyway, online, nobody can tell you're giving them the cold shoulder unless you work at it.
Calling them a Bill O'Reilly or a buttinsky is a start. Or "Good evening. Please to not be all up in my business in a public venue. Concerns about my moral failings may be addressed via private email, in deference to the dignity of the entire universe. KTHXBYE!" is another option.
Hell, my sister tried to call me on how I was wishing my mother a happy birthday. I informed her that it was between Ma and me, and that we were both okay with it.
Of course, when I comment, it's because I'm right, and it'd be selfish not to share said rightness.
