Oh, we called ours the Fighting Quakers. Don't know if that was official or not.

(Jesse, where?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We only called them Fighting Quakers as a joke, I'm pretty sure. At Penn.

The actual mascot was a cranky, belligerent-looking little quaker-hatted dude. He looked decidedly unpeaceable.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

My poor Clarks are one of the pairs of shoes that almost fit, but anything other than the velcro-strapped are too narrow.

I have to generally get wide widths in Clarks, and not all styles come in wide, but the ones I have, I do adore. (Although the soles of my sandals are a little smelly now.)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Still waiting for the Washington Redskins to have a clue.

In that area, the Washington Redskins have made it clear that they don't want a clue.

To update:

The back problem appears to be muscle spasm. There are pills, there's supposed to be moving around. There isn't supposed to be much driving.

There will be 2 more cats this evening.

And there's one less computer at home. It died in a puff of smoke. Luckily, no flames, so nothing else damaged.

If I only had a brain...

Plei, I have different foot issues, but my best comfy shoes are from Naot and Beautifeel. Unfortunately, they're very very spendy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

More cats are always good.

Of course, as soon as I post this there will probably be a half-dozen posts contradicting me. But hey, I grew up on a farm - we usually had six to twelve cats and kittens at any one time.

brillig

It died in a puff of smoke.

Oh, dear, the magical blue smoke got out. Hard to pull a computer back from the abyss when the magic smoke escapes.

Yeah, totally. Which is why I do all my computer repairs under a lead crystal bell jar.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ack, Fred. Good luck w/ all that.

I am now ready for lunch. It is Not Lunch Time. I apparently didn't have enough breakfast. Hmph.

I have, OTOH, started doing work at work, which is exciting. Also I got offered more hours here, which I can't take. Everybody wants me!
