Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You'll be a little stiff tomorrow, but surely it'll be worth it.

HORSIEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Don't know if we've linked to this before, but Etymologic ("The toughest word game on the web") is a lot of fun and VERY addictive.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ha! I just found a description of a sort of rave I was involved with way back when. I'm even noted in the story (although he got my last name wrong). [link]

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

We went out to some open houses this afternoon(and will go to some more tomorrow). Some possibilities, though the one I liked the best may well be bid out of our price range. I guess we have to decide if it's worth placing the bid.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Sorry, no piccies, as my camera's charger has mysteriously vanished.

The parade was very good. Some amazing costumes - including 12 ft tall robots - and roughly 200 nude cyclists.

Jilli is currently in a bit of a bad mood as she discovered that the Seattle Paramount is showing Wicked this September but is only making tickets available to people with some weird theater season pass that requires a minimum purchase of three different shows.

Perkygoth not happy. Fuming, actually.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sucks, Pete. You guys should come to SF when it is playing here.

I'm glad the parade was good.

I just realized it was after 3:00. I probably should have accomplished something already, huh?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just had a minor weirdout reading this week's people. They have a man of the moment section, and of the twelve as I'm flipping through at the checkout, I realise I've had one stick his tongue in my ear while sitting in my lap, and I've had sex in another one's apartment.

Needless to say, not men it would have occurred to me that were having their moments right now, and if I had to pick which of the men with whom to have had said moments, I'd have picked others.

I had to put the magazine down, in case further articles weirded me out more.

Hmmph. Do I leave the house to pick up my dry cleaning? Why am I so lazy?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Heh. I wouldn't say no, but all available disposable income got blown on a shiny new Mac & monitor, & wacom & scanner. My old set-up was 6.5 years old and was well past its last legs.

I get the shiny on Monday.
