Tiptronic is Audi, isn't it? I seem to remember it from my TSX research.
Thanks for the info -- surprised me that the car has no user manual. Me, I rarely look at the one with my Jetta, but that's because I've already read it, and have had the car 5 years. On a rental? I might have some questions. Sure, maybe they're theoretical like this one, but still.

I think it was originally Porsche, but since Porsche and Audi are now merged it's both.
ita, it's also Tiptronic for VWs. At least, that's what Charisse has.
TWoP has a new shirt some of you may be interested in.
Oh yeah. Porsche, Audi and VW are all one happy corporate family. I forget who owns who....
In BMW it's called steptronic.
I can't link to this directly (stupid Javascripted link), but go to msnbc and click on the link that says "Animal Tracks: Firefighter's purr-fect rescue" - it's a slideshow of lots of cute animal photos, including a firefighter holding a cat he rescued, and another cat receiving oxygen (with a kitty-head-sized oxygen mask) to treat it for smoke inhalation.
Oh, and the picture of the guy who had his cat's picture tatooed on his arm after the cat saved him from dying of a drug overdose....
Yes it's just a coincidence. It isn't someone testing a new doomsday machine design. Yep, no chance of that.Oh. You finished the rocket, then?
