And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Really just the one kiss.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

From OXO link

Vacuum insulation guarantees desired drinking temperature up to 7 hours

That's awesome.

New brake pads, 4 new tires, alignment.

I knew I needed new tires, I was just hoping to do some comparison shopping and get them on the cheap. Except, I've been meaning to do that for months, so paying dealership prices for getting it done is better than the other plan of dying in a horrible accident.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We always get our tires replaced at Sears. They usually do it pretty cheaply.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Come to think of it, I've never put enough miles on one particular car to need to replace tires.

I should have gone to Costco. But the past few weeks have been insane-making, which means that this week and maybe the next will be me staring blankly at the walls/TV/walls trying to recover.

I am the sort of consumer whose lack ot discipline leads to dependence on one stop shopping (I'm not taking my car to the cheap and good oil change place if I can get my oil changed at the same time they fix my brakes). I don't know if my dealership dicks me around pricewise, but in terms of being helpful and timely (and doing some stuff for free), they've been topnotch. So they make money off my laziness.

Happy Birthday, askye!

I don't know anything aobut OXO, Oxo, or brake pads, but I do know that flea is totally justified in her Dancing With the Stars love because it is the best summer throw-away show ever! And last night the mystery of how they combine the audience vote with the judges' scores was revealed.
