I love Feynman. He was an amazing person. I briefly thought about going into physics after reading his book, but then I realized that he made physics interesting and versatile, not the other way around. SYJMF is one of my favorite books.

Sure -- sorry for the cryptic, I was just logging on for a sec before lunch. I'll be editing a newsletter and otherwise providing writerly support in the publications division of a medical trade association. And the pay and the people are both very nice, so I'm excited.

There's a man down the hall from me who is taking photos of one section of our library. (I think he was hired by the firm; he has professional looking equipment at any rate.)

He seems to have decided that some of the books weren't worthy of being photographed, since they are in a pile on the floor.

I'm torn between feeling sorry for the books and irratated because they are out of order.

There may just be a reason I became a librarian.

It's funny, I had a good week, despite being nibbled to death. First there was the ant invasion (killed dead.) Then the car. Then the sink. And let's not talk about how I'm still suspicious of my a/c as it is running all day and barely maintaining 76 and I'm going to hate this electric bill.

But still, a good week.

And I just punched a hole in the top of my pinky.

Hivemind question: I've gone on ten interviews. Most of them are still somewhere in their decision process. Do I need to call them all and let them know I'm out of the running? Does it make a difference if it's a job I really want vs. one I just interviewed for because I need to work to buy catfood?
