So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm sure they do lots of good stuff too.

They require solitary confinement and the wearing of socks with sandals.

Not just solitary confinement, but for the first 2 days of the program (and possibly longer, depending on the participant's attitude, I suppose), the participant is literally not allowed to speak. To anyone. Including family.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

the participant is literally not allowed to speak. To anyone. Including family.

Yerp. And even after that is never allowed to discuss with anyone what goes on in their sessions, which to me = distinctly culty, all snark about the socks aside.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So, did Jesus wear socks with his sandals?

They require solitary confinement and the wearing of socks with sandals.

I'm not saying they do enough good stuff to balance out that program.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, did Jesus wear socks with his sandals?

Of course. Where else did he get the socks for his sock puppet routines?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Actually, I'm sure they do lots of good stuff too.

I've seen too many statistics on the suicide rate among gay teens to sign on to that.

Leif won't wear sandals without socks. I didn't realize it was a religous thing, I thought it was just a three-year old thing.

Cubicle action figures

Each set comes with one 2 3/4-inch humanlike figure -- your choice of Bob, Joe, Ted or Ann. And it includes all the plastic parts necessary to build a classic cube: four walls, desk, chair, file cabinet, in/out box, phone and computer.

Also included is cube decor: a sticker sheet of graphs, charts, screens; and another sticker sheet of job titles "so you can create a convoluted and meaningless position for your employee," as the promotional material so boldly states.

I was thinking about programs that don't involve gay teens. Their program for gay teens sounds reprehensible.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

off-topic. If I was writing to say how much an event raised, would I tell people the gross or the net? These are donor types who made non-tax deductible contributions to the event.
