I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, it only takes about 40 minutes longer than any other method of cooking salmon?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I need that recipe for cooking salmon on top of a car engine....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What's wrong with your email, msbelle?

I am currently looking into getting my hair cut at Arrojo Studios. Hee!!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Cool! I would let Nick cut my hair however he wanted. I can't even say that about my own stylist.

Clearly, I would not be getting my hair cut by Nick. But! I'd probably be getting it cut by someone who is being trained by someone who was trained by Nick! For twenty bucks!

Well, sure. But in my dream world, he could cut my hair however he wanted.

But! I'd probably be getting it cut by someone who is being trained by someone who was trained by Nick!

And that's still really cool!

For twenty bucks!

And that may just be the very bestest part!

AND I wouldn't have to take off work to do it, the best part. I've been going back and forth about whether I actually get paid little enough to take a day off for a free haircut.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You know, my professional career has always been about reducing the amount of paper in the enterprise. Always. It's the raison d'etre of this department. Why, then, do I come in to see a printed out e-mail on my chair with handwriting on it? My boss doesn't sit remotely near my sube. That can't have been the easy answer.
