I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Always Anti-fascist!

Someone on lj just intimated he wants my advice about something...is it wrong if that makes me wonder either a: when the hell he lost all of his real friends and family in an epidemic... b. how awful the poor guy's life must be if I look wise. Poor bastard.

What is even happening?

Isn't cup size calculated such that if you measure around the fullest part of the breasts, each inch larger than your band size is a cup? So if you're 36 band size, and 40 inches around the fullest part of your breasts, you're a 36 D? If you're 36 band, and 39 around the breasts, you're C, etc?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That sounds about right. I always want to get measured for a bra, but I opt for just trying and trying and trying and trying until I fond one that fits and is comfortable and sits right.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Your exact bra size? Or your cup size? If they can wear your bras comfortably, I'm with you on the oddness.

bra size. I wear a 34D nowadays. Then again, maybe it's just me and my internal image of myself is still a 34A.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Anyone got time to look over my resume and cover letter for the really really cool work-from-home job?

Mostly lurking...

My girls seem to gain weight at the same rate as the rest of me. So, as my ribcage gets larger, so does my boobies. I've been a C-cup basically my whole life. But, my boobies are definately larger than when I was in high school. It's just weird. Bodies are weird. Boobies are weird.

Plei, they made boobies into math!

I was fitted for a bra for my wedding, and that was it. I just try 'em on now, too. Actually, I was a slave to Bali underwire for years, and never had to change bra sizes or try them on, after I found the right one. They were my favorite. Always. A year or two ago, I suddenly couldn't wear underwire, if my life depended on it, so I'm back to the try ons, unless I like a bra well enough and am able to find it again, when I need it.

I also hate seams in the cups. Why do they have to go right across the nipple? Buying a non-underwire, non-seamed bra, for 36Ds, one that actually holds them in place, is quite an adventure.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I think I might be sneaky (read: passive agressive) when I get to Michigan this week. My mom hates boobies in the wrong size bra. Maybe I'll wear a too small bra on purpose and this will make her whip out the Lane Bryant or Kohl's cards and take me bra shopping.
