The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Has anyone seen where my motivation went? I need to send off my resume, review a document, and call my doctor to make an appointment so we can figure out if there is anything that would help with the cramps that are waking me up out of a sound sleep every month. I have done none of these things. I want french fries, extra-strength prescription painkillers, and a nap. If I'm *really* lucky, I might get the fries.

Camp Buffista!!!!

You got it. If we can get high speed internet in by next summer I will stay there all summer. A mountain F2F in Otter Lake would be much fun.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

A mountain F2F in Otter Lake would be much fun.

Oh my, yes.

Good luck with finding the motivation, Jilli. You've got such good carrots to make you do at least some of the stuff you have to do, I can't think of any other incentive to add.

Thrive to spite them

My hair style is pretty much low maintenance. It gets wet, I towel dry throughly. Get dressed. Towel dry some more. Rub goop in my hair in a rather messy fashion from roots to ends (which isn't far), get some more and twist at the ends to make kinda spikes. Or skip the making spikes step.

Laura the camp sounds wonderful!!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I don't even towel-dry my hair. (It's awfully rough on my hair to do that to it.) So it's wash, pat with towel, look in mirror, grumble, throw in product, hope like hell it dries okay, go to work.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have short, fine, thin hair that I like to make kinda big. Makes it a challenge to find things that give me volume and lift without weighting my hair down. I love Rusk products: Radical Creme (which is being discontinued!), Being Gutsy, Jel FX.

We're near Oswego now, Laura, but I don't think it's far from there.

Otter Lake is directly East of Oswego at the same latitude, but about a hundred mile drive due to lack of direct route.

I have to dry my hair some so the product will stick right. Most of the time I'm running late to work and I don't even look in the mirror. If I don't use shampoo for seveal days it spikes better. And it's supposed to look messy so that works as well.

Our wings are not tired.

I must shampoo at least once a day. I have oily fine hair and with the heat index shampoo must happen. Never use a dryer. Towel dry a moment and out the door. No product ever. The heat index is a factor there with me too. I know I'm going to be soaked with sweat from time to time, or may well jump into a pool during the day. Product just doesn't work for my climate or lifestyle.

My hair is longer than it has been in a while. I like it. I can twist it up when I'm warm or want to be dressy.
