I'm thinking longer than the picture you liked for Perkins, but not by much. I still love this cut but I'm not sure it will work with my hair, which is pretty fine. Also, I don't want to have to do much to it, and I think this one would require blow-drying.

Edited because a "shirt" cap of hair is probably a very different beast than a "short" cap of hair.

You can do a lot of styling with product, especially with shorter hair.

I think it might, if you have lots of layers, possibly more than are in the picture. It might give you more body, because it would be lightened up.
