I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Dunno, Epic. It's the top of the second now, but I've been sorta zoning in and out.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Well, yes. Although, sooner or later, I suppose I will have to stop rewarding myself with baked goods. Or fried ones.

But not today!! (I mean, seriously, it's like day 2, right? Still early enough in the fight for calorriffic rewards).

Ah well, no big. I can check the stats tomorrow. Just, I haven't been able to watch him play since he got traded back in '01, so having you see him play with the knowledge of my fangurl-y lurve for him - it's almost like being there...or something.

I like your thinking, Epic. Pie it is. And maybe I'll still go to the gym. I mean, the grocery store is that way anyway.

Compassionately intolerant

The thread shifted in the middle of wedding flower madness and I've had no time to catch up yet. Looking forward to seeing what's been up since Thursday.

Here is some pictoral evidence of what has kept me away. It's a shutterfly link...not sure if it will work.

Hugs to all who needs 'em and hope all is well until I can get caught up!

OK. My NP called in tylenol w/ codeine and a muscle relaxant. We're going to touch base tomorrow and decide what to do based on how much the drugs help.

Ow, Susan. Back pain is the worst; it affects EVERYTHING. I hope the drugs help!

Weather is nice here. I have the windows open, and no air. I turned it on a couple of nights this weekend -- I hate to sleep sweaty.

I had a pleasant weekend. After the play Friday, I went to a cast party at the most WONDERFUL loft in the River MArket area -- just this inconspicuous little apartment door, but it goes up to this amazing two story loft, with a terrace like a rich Park Avenue apartment -- trees! Trees on a terrace! And a nice view of the river and downtown, and a great breeze. I was very jealous.

Been applying for temp jobs, and tonight will write more cover letters for FT teaching jobs for the fall. Job-ma for summer and FT fall work would be GREAT; I'm broke as fuck.

Worrying about the job hasn't left me much time for hanky-panky; I DID call that guy last week, and we hooked up on Thursday, which was fun. He called Sunday, no message, and I called back, but haven't heard anything. Which is fine.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have pie

Pie makes everything better. While at the casino on Laughlin last week, we ate at the diner and I ordered "Pie Pie". Which consisted of a really good chicken pot pie served with a great slice of cherry pie. Plus, I got to say "Pie Pie" to the waiter.

My friend has a cherry tree in her yard, and I foresee a great picking and pie-making extravaganza later this summer.

We had a cherry tree in our backyard, until it was struck by lightning.

We also had a tree in the front yard struck. And a car.

Hmm.

Whoa. DOUBLE pie.

Another reason I love the automatic checkouts at the grocery store: when I go in at 9 pm in sweats and buy an entire pie and a bag of gummy bears, I don't gots to explain nothin' to no one.
