I'm fresh from wrapping a six-day movie shoot. Rather sunburned. After a week of shooting in the Venice beach sun and religiously slathering myself with SPF 50, I forgot to put it on today and got rather toasted, despite only shooting for a half day with half interior locations.

I'm very excited at the prospect. And generally pleased with both the money and the contacts I made on this project, and I suspect they will in fact lead to more work, which is happy making indeed.

My next freelance career goal is to try to start making two grand a month consistently. I haven't cleared two grand for this month yet, but I'm well on the way. Today it really seemed possible for the first time since I started doing this two years ago.
