I've noticed that a number of people who write morally outraged emails tend to be surprised when the people they flame email them back with well thought out responses. Apparently, responding to trollery with logic makes one a big meanie.

So said the woman who spammed the Moms4Kerry group email with her nasty, BIGOTED (she used the word RAGHEAD), hateful and chock-full-of-inacurracies email about how if we loved our kids, we'd vote for Bush.
Needless to say, she got paid back, thoroughly in email responses.

Well, considering her HUSBAND responded to my reply, I think I got to them. As did all the other places I posted their email address. I don't think they understood how the internets really work.
I wonder how these people expect others to react to them?
Either they honestly think that people will be shamed into good behavior when confronted with their outrage, or they see the inevitable backlash as proof that they are being persecuted because they are standing up for righteousness.
What I really want to do is take them aside and explain that there is a big difference in being persecuted because you are a Christian and being persecuted because you are being a raging asshat.
