Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh. When Lilty wrote "packing" I was thinking about what meara or Ple would mean by that phrase - not the getting-ready-for-travel version.

I *did* call various Buffistas from the hospital when I was looped out of my gourd on morphine. I'm told I was amusing.

Yeah. That was good. Morphine calling - it's a whole different vibe. Actually I called you while you were doped up. You didn't remember a thing. But you were very loopy during the call.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

When I was hopped up on morphine just after my sinus surgery, I was reportedly pretty funny. Aside from telling Bec that she was "a good wifey" for being there when I woke up, and demanding -- loudly -- that they remove this catheter IMMEDIATELY, I then gazed owlishly at the nurse as she explained that in one hand I had a morphine button, and in the other I had a nurse button. "So, if I hit this button, I get a shot of morphine... And if I hit this button, you get a shot of morphine!"

Now I want to see the Mighty Morphine Power Rangers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was pretty boring on morphine, or at least Burrell's DH didn't notice how completely out of my gourd I was. The nurse asked if I was still in pain. I was, and told her so, but there was no way I was taking any more of the stuff.

I was in pain, sure, but I really didn't care.

Pretty much the definition of morphine.

Hmmm, JZ's new gen-u-wine leather knee high boots were a ridiculous deal at $38 (no shipping charge).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The applicable question was "Is the pain bothering you?" Not so much "Does it still hurt?"

I wonder if they usually bother with that distinction.

glad to hear that the buffistas near and dear seem to be safe.

and yay Susan !

did I leave anything out?

like that fact that Matt broke his toe? by dropping a bandsaw on it?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Whatever he was doing--even if he was trying to break his toe--maybe you should tell him he's doing it wrong.
