Echoing the safety wishes for Fay, Tim, Paul, and Sheila, and their friends and family.
CNN just updated the confirmed deaths from the London bombings as at least 40. Good lord.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

40? god. It was easier to handwave when it was 2 (as the BBC STILL has on their website)
So, Somervillains, can anyone tell me where these places are? I think I've been to the school in Concord (he used to be the drama teacher there before he QUIT TO BECOME A FULL-TIME WORKING ACTOR, w00t!!!1!), and I have a beloved elderly relative in Dedham whom I visited a lot in college, so I have a vague sense of "These places are not in downtown Cambridge" but nothing clearer. Can anyone orient me a bit better? (For reference: I'll probably stay with my bro and his partner, in Brighton, near the end of the Red Line).
Tons of safety-ma to Tom's and Fay's relatives and friends in London, and really to everyone in London. So very frightening. (eta: 40? Oh, hell. God rest them, and mercy to all those who love them. There are no really adequate words.)
CNN's claiming the Brityish government as their source. I get the CNN email updates, so the 40+ is probably a recent number.
Brighton= the green line.
Concord and Lincoln - out on 2 West; I'd say about a half hour, give or take from when you'd get on it (by car) in Cambridge at Alewife, which is the (North) end of the Red Line.
They look like they're basically out Rt. 2 or so. Concord is on one side of Rt. 2. The Lincoln location is on the other side. So, west of the city. Probably 20 minutes drive or so from Cambridge.
Did you say you'd have a car? From Brighton, you could go Soldiers Field Road through Alewife and onto Rt. 2, pretty easily. I'd budget about 45 minutes or so. I myself would leave an hour to get there, and likely be there early. Concord and Lincoln are next to each other, on Rt. 2. You pass through Concord first, then Lincoln. I don't know much about either town once you get off of Rt. 2, though, except Hanscom Air field is in Lincoln, and Walden Pond is in Concord.
With my history of depression, I went over all my options--DH was really worried about PPD. Oddly enough, I was on a little hormone high for about five months.
Still, it was worth checking out.
Turns out I don't actually need a prescription to buy Zoloft here though...so, anybody want any meds?
Raquel's buying a round for the house!
Trying to only dip into the news. If I start watching CNN, I'll be in front of the television all day. Bad.
Brighton= the green line.
My bad, gnyargh. So how far is all this to-do from your new house?
vw, you are the sweetest. But, I, um, I think I kind of already asked someone. Well, actually, I already asked JenK. Please don't hate me!
Damn. I have new respect for billytea. This internet dating thing is AWKWARD.

Hm, well, not far, but far enough.
What are your planned arrival and departure dates again? And when would you be doing the wedding thing, and when can we play with you? And should we take this to F2F?
