Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The worst years of my life were 29-33, and that was all my fault. I was a happy kid, loved high school, etc, etc. I don't know how my classmates would rank HS against the rest of their lives, but most of them sure looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

12-17 sucked, no doubt. But looking at all the responsibilities I have now (except Em) vs then? I think I'd take the shit in exchange for not having to worry about car payments and credit cards.

OMG, Emmett has gotten so big!

I feel like I might be getting back to a good year again, possibly for the first time since maybe 10.

I went to the bookstore I used to work at tonight to look at resume/job books, to help Teacup Guy in his job search, and I ended up talking to a former coworker who knew about a possible city planning job. Teacup Guy is going to call the town hall about it tomorrow. If there is any job~ma availible out there, please send it Teacup Guy's way.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Jobma for Teacup Guy. What a piece of luck, I hope it pans out!

Why aren't you home, GC?

It's only a week...and, like I told my dad tonight, I just have to pass. She's being REALLY flexible and even letting me make up the two quizzes I missed (which she said at the beginning of the session that she would not do). We had a paper due today, and she said that I just need to get it to her by the end of the class.
