[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I don't hate Splenda!Diet Coke, but I seem to have become used to the aspartame in Good Old!Diet Coke.

I still like Diet IBC root beer best.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I don't like diet Coke, so I'm curious to try the Splenda version to see if it tastes more like regular Coke.

Saw Spamalot last night. It rocked.

Also, timelies all.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

DCwS tastes a lot like regular Coke, which disturbs my diet-loving tongue.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I haven't tried DCwS yet, and it sounds like maybe I don't need to.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'ma try Coke Zero next. If I don't die from coughing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I tried C2 and Coke with Lime this week. C2 actually tasted like regular Coke, for the most part, though it had that hint of emptiness that Diet Coke has. Coke with Lime tasted like Coke...with lime. It's interesting, not bad.

move out and draw fire

I have nothing to contribute, except that Coke Light (Diet Coke) here comes in solid silver plastics that looks sort of like metal. Not see-thru. Have they changed the packaging in the US also?

I assumed the Splenda thing was due to the Atkins diet, since they recommend Splenda over aspartame.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

To me DCwS tastes infinitely better than regular Diet Coke--none of that awful bitterness of aspartame.

Maybe it's Diet Coke for supertasters.

Hey. New board.

I'm listening to British radio on iTunes.

It's interesting.

It was under the "Top 40 / Pop" section, but I'm pretty sure that it's not. Since "Hey Mickey" and "Build me up Buttercup" were the last two songs to play.

I'm more interested in mortgages when they're advertised with British accents.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We only get the overall standings and scores, so thanks for the Zito details. Is he still a cutiehead?

He is. (Not as cute as Mal, though.) The cutieheads du jour are Harden and especially Huston Street. Lexine could probably give a more thorough update. Also, folks are thinking we flat-out thieved the Cardinals on the Mulder trade. We not only got Haren, who's pitching better than Mulder, and is younger and cheaper, but we got Kiko Calero (who was fantastic as a setup man before his elbow twigged) and the best hitting prospect in the minors, Daric Barton.

Emmett will be more than happy to take Mal to a Giants game, should this occur. Come back to the Bay Area!
