Poor Owen. It's only a flesh wound, though. I think a helmet would have longer-lasting psychological effects. At that age my brother was nicknamed Natty Bumpo and had a goose-egg on the middle of his forehead for months in a row. And he's fine now, pretty much!

Ouch! Poor Owen. Cash, if it makes you feel any better they do slow down a little but then the bumps get bigger (the youngest just went for his 9 y.o. check up with a huge hokin scraped knee and bruises all along one leg - thankfully the Dr. has boys so she just laughed and told him to be careful).
