They might never check their friends lists because they are a lame user of LJ.
I signed up for an LJ account. I looked for friends and added some names I recognized. Months ago I did this. That was probably the last time I checked. I kept getting different opinions on when and whether it was ok to add people, and finally I just said bother. After all, it takes too much time for me to keep up with b.org. Why do I think I could keep up with more?
Although...it looks like there's a good deal on every possible telecommunications service as long as I buy them from the same vendor, and I don't hate the vendor, so I might look into it. They say about $70 per month for digital cable, cable internet, local phone, long distance phone, and cellular service. I don't know if that's remotely possible, as the deal up to now has been about $90 for the same list except no cell. If the deal is as promised, or even close, I may join the ranks with high speed internet, which might let me try following LJ again.
