Ah ha! Well in that case... My pissedoffedness begins with a good friend of mine having Hodgkin's disease. Which my parents decided not to tell me about whilst I was on holidays, which I'm also not happy about, but. What I'm most unhappy about is how they FORGOT to tell me altogether. I found out from someone in work who knows the family. Today. A couple of hours before I was going to see her and her new baby. And it's not the first time they've done something like this. Just... argh.

Oh dear, that's a real bummer of a communications breakdown, Jars.
A friend of mine was diagnozed with Hodgkins about 2 years ago. She's made a complete recovery, though the treatment was no fun at all.

Yeah, she's got her second dose of chemo tomorrow. She's more upset about the fact that she can't breastfeed anymore than anything, I think. She's being really positive, though I suppose she can't not be, with the baby.
