Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's only 8:10. I know I'm not the school's first priority, but damn, I want to hear back. Also, I really don't want to go to this interview at 12:30. So, please! School! Call me back! Save me from the evil interview!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

what time is the thing tonight? I am so sorry to be so very very lazy.

(I know where it is though)

Patience is not my virtue this morning. I want my groceries NOW! I want the school to call NOW! I want it to be 7pm NOW!

See. No patience.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

very other time I've felt like this I've either had mono or been pregnant. You're not supposed to get the former twice, and I know I'm not the latter

One of my editors is out of the office due to her second round of mono. (She had it the first time ~20 years ago). One of my old school buddies has had it three times, and he's about 35. It's probably a general, one of those things going around type virus, but a mono rerun is not out of the question.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

A small woot is in order. I just got back from seeing Katie Melua in concert. It was a most enjoyable show. Is Kristin around? She's the artist I was playing in your car while visiting. The show closed (with the exception of encores) with my fave song.

Woot, billytea! That sounds like great fun.

Groceries have been delivered and put away. They even got here early enough so I could take Emily to school. I didn't want her to have to walk. It's really icky outside.

I really hope I hear from the school soon. I don't want to go on my 12:30 interview if I don't have to.

Because books.

Hear soon ~ma, vw. It sounds like it went really well last night.

This ordering groceries thing is intriguing. I could get behind that.

Trust my rage

When I lived in Brazil, I often ordered groceries from the internet. It was nice because everything just showed up at the house. We have a store here that lets you order and then you just dirve up and they take it to your car, but I've never tried it.

I could get behind that.

It's really quite nice...especially living in an urban area. Also, it's quick and easy, and with school and stuff, I've needed that. Plus, I don't have to carry them up to the third floor. That's really the best part.
