She does ping the old gaydar quite often, and it was when he was shaking her hand (having shaken my hand already and done the 'goodbye Fay' thing in a surprisingly unoffensive fashion) that he did the whole hint hint nudge nudge wink wink dyke dyke thing. Bless her. (She's cut her hair short and spikey now - can't remember if that happened after you left? I think the back needs shaving, but it looks SO much better. Anyway, in other news: WE GOT PAID!!!
And, okay, so they basically are only paying us for 2 months, but that was pretty much what I expected. And there's a distinct possibility that I'll get my flight money too, insh'allah, which is better than I was braced for. So all in all, pretty damned happy, actually.
