[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, I want to marry ibuprofen and have its babies. It's the only thing that works when the Communists are on the march. God bless whatever chemical genius came up with this stuff.
It has been suggested to kind of turn the hallway or even dining room into her room until we move. It's having the energy and not being freaked that someone won't reach in and grab her.Right. The point is for you (all) to sleep. It's gotta be a challenge to take a semi-firm hardline about sleeping, when you're sharing the room.
Specially when the man is the one taking the hardline. As in, he sleeps through it all.
Aimee, just poke him repeatedly while you stick your head under the pillow. That's what I do.
I might do just that.
We have this deal where, when he's home, he does the diapers because I always have to do the food.
So I feel no guilt about poking him awake, as it buys me the five minutes I need to be awake enough to manage my boobs and my baby.
That was our deal before I weaned. Now we both do diapers and feedings. In his defense, he;s been sick the past couple of nights, but just sound asleep before that. I'ma get a pokin stick.
I love the grunty faces, and the newborn look of dark and sorrowful contemplation. The product is not so delightful, but the production is, as lisah notes, comedy GOLD.
ION, Gnyargh. I just got back from extensive allergy testing, and my back is scritchy and my arms are sore. Also, I'm allergic to cat dander (which I already knew) but not cat hair (which, buh?), more allergic to horses than to cats, not allergic at all to pollens (wha-huh?), and massively, ragingly allergic to dust mites.
So now we have to invest in dust-mite-proof mattress and pillow covers, wash all the bed linens every two weeks or ELSE, treat the walls, and keep the bedroom generally very very clean. Hec is going to hate me forever, as he is philosophically opposed to putting his clothes away in drawers and behind closet doors and in places where he can't see them. Which, after umpty jillion snippy fights, I've finally let slide, but apparently his clothes are providing safe harbor to a horde of enemies that long to destroy me.
(Um, not that I'm not guilty of clothing-leaving-out too, but I've been trying to be better about it, even before the big throbbing dust mite weal on my back.)
I'm also supposed to put Snoopy away, and likely take down the mosquito-netting canopy, but that ain't gonna happen.
To make it up to Hec for oppressing him with cleanliness, I just got him this (second-to-last picture; I don't seem to be able to link to it directly) for his birthday. He's getting other stuff, too, of course, but this in itself is pretty wicked damn cool IMO.
Lily and Plei are so so pretty. Keep those photos coming!
I'm in the Burbank airport. My flight was supposed to leave at 2:25 but it got delayed to 4:20. At least I have the internets to keep me occupied.
