Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Happy Birthday, JZ! May it be as wonderful as you are.

{{{Nora}}} You poor baby. The move will be over soon, though. I hope that helps a little.

It's my day off...but I'm going in this morning to meet the person they're thinking about hiring to replace my boss. I want to still be sleeping.

Hairpats for anxious Nora...but, HOUSE! I'm so jealous.

And while I'm being jealous, I might as well share a bit of an e-mail from some friends we hadn't heard from in a couple years that made me go green:

About two years ago J--- & I bought an apartment in Paris in the 18th right next to Sacre Coure, which we gutted and complely renovated.

I was sulking last night about having to live in someone else's house (still! at 36! after years of being a successful professional!) while the landlord's daughter pumped her music at top volume from 10-midnight. But the landlord just came by with a pail of apricots from the tree in the backyard for us, so that helped make it up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was sulking last night about having to live in someone else's house (still! at 36! after years of being a successful professional!)

This SoCaller laughs in your general direction.

But even though my parents owned a house from the time I was 8 or so, we certainly didn't live in it often -- such is the glamourous life of postings upon postings.
