Really? How? About what? And I'd probably always want to touch you...ask me a tough one.
Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oooh, t basks in Sean's reflected glory
stares at the expanse of the Great Salt Lake
Sorry if I'm being pedantic, but that whole "Lake" word is throwing me. Hee: it's like a geological inferiority complex.
I was at the DGA last night as part of the LA Film Festival, and he was there to see one of the movies that was playing. I didn't say much more than "Huge fan of Angel, loved your work on the show." but he was very kind and polite, and shook my hand.
He's bald again. And yes, he was wearing a shirt.
Dammit.
Which brings the tally to : J August Richards and Nicholas Brendan.
When do I get to run into Aly or Eliza or Amber on the streets of LA.
Juliana--it was one of those magical transporting evenings in the theater. We were talking about how watching a great period film in makes one think "Oh, that's what it was really like" and watching a great period play makes one feel "I am back there right now." It was an intensely theatrical experience in all the best senses of the word. Having one actor play all the roles is not only exciting to watch, it also works as a metaphor for the theme of "true" self and story-telling woven throughout the piece. Jefferson Mayes is INCREDIBLE and the script seems simple and strightforward but keeps revealing more and more complexity as the evening wears on.
Sean -- you should have told him I said "Hi."
Though I can imagine that wasn't your first choice. But you'd have had something non-fannish to talk about.
Assuming he remembered.
He was one of my favorites on that show.
Robin --
That's so cool! Our fall season is opening with "I Am my Own Wife" and I can't wait!
