'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy Happy Tep Day!!!

BT--I would totally date you. If I wasn't spoken for and far away, your profile would make me say, hmmm, my sort of man, smart, funny and seems like a good soul, too (a mensch, as I call my Jewish BF), plus he has a charming smile.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

The goal is to keep it from driving me crazy until it's to the middle of my shoulder blades, or thereabouts. (Of course, then keeping it from driving me crazy becomes a whole 'nother proposition.)

Uh huh. I'm letting my hair grow for the wedding, and it's below my shoulders for the first time in years. It takes longer to dry, and I suddenly bear a strong resemblance to Cousin It if it ends up in my face. That happens more often than I'd like. Of course, I can now put my hair in a ponytail without using bobby pins or clips to hold back shorter pieces, 'cause even the short ones are long now.

Happy Teppy Day!

(Way, way behind over in Natter, but Hi! to all)

Hi JohnSweden! Good war? Good birthday?

Hi -t!

War was excellent, as was meeting the lovely Erin. Birthday was spent driving back to Canada from KC, but I got out for drinks with a pal the next night. I'm seeing Serenity tonight with the Toronto Browncoats, so I'm just considering it my birthweek.

Always a good idea to spread out the celebration over longer than a day.

As much as I can get away with ...

I have gift certificates to spend. The deliciousness of having them and weighing up what to spend them on is counter-balanced by the Want Now! aspect of my personality. Ah well, I'm a Gemini, we're complicated.

Cool, I'm a Gemini too.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

A Mostly Day-Old meara:

Mine's on Thursday (see how I've hardly mentioned it this year? see?!?),

You have been very circumspect this year, but

Happiest Birthday to Steph!!

Have a wonderful natal day, and may you receive many presents and chocolate. Delivered by a cabana boy.

Ah, Maria is wise.

and I consider myself about 70-30 cancer-gemini. Because I have the Cancerian traits of being a homebody and being a big caretaker (particularly by feeding people) and being moody, overemotional, and clingy, and intuitive. I am a Cancer, therefore I nest. But I also have the Gemini traits of being swift with words, witty, intellectual, tense as hell, and needing to be the center of attention.

And Steph is me, well, mostly.

you totally just described me. well...except for the caretaker and clingy parts.

Oops, my mistake, tiggy is me - except I am clingy.

Happy Closing, Tom & Nora!

Anne, I'm with everybody else on the more than one agency recommendation. After my layoff last summer I went back to the same agency I worked with before, but they didn't do jack for me this time out. The second agency I signed on with found me the job I am now permanent at, first assignment. Good luck!

I sent her my shit THREE FUCKING HOURS AGO. They must be really desperate this week.

Or, alternatively, they recognize how awesome you are. Duh, P-C.

Java has saved me some of the trouble of tiara hunting. Loved literally every one in her post #6075.

There's a very loud "discussion" going on in my office mate's boss's office. Behind a closed door, but I can hear every word. I am so uncomfortable.

For me this is always the point that I find I have paperwork that needs to be delivered elsewhere, or that it's breaktime, or time for the ladies room. I so hate conflict. And I really hate it when I'm being let in on other peoples' personal stuff uninvited.

Congrats on finding a really supportive looking bra - seems like it would be reasonably comfy, so woohooters! for you, Steph.

Had to meara that because I think that “woohooters!” is my new most favoritest word evah!!!1!!1!

Knowing I'm partial to wombats, a friend just sent me this [link] for the headline. Poor wombat, though.

No time to read what happened to the poor wombat, but if that's where your love lies, then maybe you'd like to see this site. Before you all start thinking weird thoughts about me, I found it because the guy does dance shirts as well.

Congrats to amych & her new DH!

Anyone I missed?

Woohooters!! to anyone who needs 'em!
