Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

yeah, DC is pretty awful for home buying, I hear. Blargh.

ION, I have an appointment for a hair cut on Friday evening. Thank god.

In possibly related news, I've started the no-hair washing experiment starting this morning. We'll see how that goes.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Howard County is a possibility, but home values and appreciation are better in the 270 corridor.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

So, didja elope, amych? In any case, felicitations and all best wishes on the occasion of your marriage!

I have straight, fine, flyaway hair, always have had. Every Saturday when I was two, to about when I was five, Mom would wash my hair and set me in the high chair and french braid my hair. It took for freaking ever, and she pulled it tight enough to keep me from closing my eyes when I blinked. It stayed that way until the next Saturday, when she repeated the process.

Okay, maybe it wasn't from two till five. But it sure felt like it.

Look! Skull fabric that I'm getting a knee-length circle skirt (with ruffled hem, of course) made out of, because one of my seamstress friends has extra fabric.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love that fabric, Jilli. I covet it everytime I see it.

I really need to get my sewing machine set up.

Mostly lurking...

Whoo! I'm home! For about an hour... Evening staff came in early so the rest of us could go home and get ready for the event. I think that may have been the longest 2.5 hours I've ever worked.
