There is NO way I could skip a day washing my hair. You people who *do* skip -- don't you sweat?!? If I were vaguely clean and hadn't been all sweaty the day before (from exercising/general summer weather), I could maybe not wash my hair, if I knew I wasn't leaving the house and wasn't going to see people.

But if I skip even one day, about halfway through that first day of not-washing, my hair does that thing that Rio mentioned hers does after FOUR days -- I can just sort of pull it wherever I want it and it stays.

And -- not washing my hair makes me feel soooooooooo nasty.

So, the sun is out, and I opened one eye and decided I needed an hour of beach time. I put on my favorite little red bikini and YAYS it still fits. But, when I go to clasp the back Oh NOES the little plastic dude snaps!! I move to bikini #2 and the fabric isn't elastic enough, and this one has gotten too big. Bikini #3- fits alright, but it's a strapless with a detatchable halter and that part is missing. It will do for today, but makes swimming tricky.

My point being:

I have to go...b..bb..bathing suit shopping... keens

I can't just sit back and wait for it to find me, as nice as that would be.

Anne, sometimes this works. Or, at least, it has for me and my last two jobs. Still, much job~ma to you!

How's the house? Any surprises so far?

Whether it's here or there, sj, both of us just need to be in the same spot as the other. Of course, not the same EXACT spot. That would be awkward.

I need to go this week, because all the bikini tops I have are rather "Here! Breasts!" and I have a beach volleyball party on Sunday, and potential other social beach events, and I think I need to be a little less ... overt.

Of course, it's possible the girls won't let me be anything else.

Teppy, when I skip shampooing I do the same things as if I were using shampoo, except I scrub my scalp a little harder and rinse longer. That gets everything clean and I don't feel greasy.

ita, I browsed Target the other day in the event a crisis like this hit. Ours was very picked over, so maybe online is the way to go. I'm just so damn picky. It's why I hadn't bought one in years. I just want a nice halter bikini.

Bathing suit shopping = HELL!!!

I can usually go one day between using shampoo but it's probably because I rarely use any kind of product in my hair. Not because I don't like product but because my hair builds up immunity to every kind of hairspray, gel, pomade, etc, that I've ever used. Stupid hair.
