[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Women exist to function as kitchen equipment, making food and washing dishes.

Well, and I read it to be more than that--in other words, women are objects you use in your home, at your convenience. Still, isn't there largely a chance he was being provocative on purpose, just to take the piss?

Hee. I'm amused to read about the F1 issues HERE of all places. (Friend of mine is a big racing fan, so I was hearing about it last night at dinner)

Yay Susan's dad! Yay Lisa having a date! Boo people having bad times. Yay Besty getting an iPod!

There aren't any Buffistas in Kalispell, are there?

I have family there, why?

Might have to go there next week for work. Along with Chicago and Kansas City.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Still, isn't there largely a chance he was being provocative on purpose, just to take the piss?

Absolutely. Eccelstone is notorious for that kind of behavior.

No, no tiggy, our first day of summer-y, solstice-y, cusp of Gemini/Cancer-y bday shall be joyous! (Not least because I'm taking the day off work)

heh. do you consider yourself a gemini or a cancer? sadly, i will not be taking the day off tomorrow. so i have no fear that my birthday sucking tradition will continue. the only thing that makes it worthwhile are my blinvisible friends...

And then they finally figure out that my dad's map is from 1972.

bwahaha!! that is priceless.

Susan, that is excellent news!

while we're talking hair...i so need something different. ever since the surgery my hair has been less than cooperative. i need to find a product that actually works and keeps the frizzies away while actually helping the hair curl. otherwise, i'd just like it straight please. it would be much easier to deal with. i need to make a hair appointment but spending upwards of $80 doesn't sound so appealing right now. *sigh*

i've got a (hivemind) question. has anyone here heard about Direct Loans(you know...the student loan people) raising their interest rates on july 1st?

Thrive to spite them

It looks like I'm getting new glasses. vision works has a 2 pars for $99, and for $20 more they'll tint one for sunglasses.

I can still wear my current ones, but it will be nice to see with out the spots. So I'm trying to figure out frames. I kind of want to do something different like slightly colored frames, but I'm worried that they'll end up looking bad with all my clothes.

Also I need a new hairstyle. Still short, but something different. So if anyone has any suggestions about something different I'd appreciate it.

duly noted. i like to be able to run my hands through my hair and some products? that's just not possible. i had a One True Love and the damn company discontinued it.

I am not a fan of Be Curly, simply because the smell makes me think of Girl Scout Camp. I'm not sure why...I think maybe it smells vaguely like Skin-so-Soft and insect repellent? Or something. :)

For ability to run hands through hair, I like ones that start the ingredients with propylene glycol--I have one cheapo one called "Curls Up" that I"m using right now. Doesn't make thigns supercurly, but is good for not making things crunchy. YCurlsMV.
