I'll be fine. I'll be your bounty, Jubal Early. And I'll just fade away.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Just got back from lunch. Hurried lunch; dropped off contract and my time sheet.

Also, found out that the bar I had drinks at Friday after the new play opening charged 2 completely different checks to me -- neither of which was mine. And being a bar, they aren't open yet, and I had to leave a voice mail.

Should I just call my bank?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally got the food processor to work, so the cannellini bean dip is done. Sorry if I am boring everyone with the details.

Thrive to spite them

Erin-- I'd call the bank and let them know the charges were in error and you are trying to get in touch with the bar.

What is even happening?

Hil, have a fabulous time in Israel! I'm excited for you. What a trip! What's your itinerary?

Susan, I am so glad your dad's gotten such good news.

Susan, I was very excited to hear your father has such a good prognosis. I'll keep sending healing ~ma to him.

I think I will call the bank. I don't really have that much money, and I need it back ASAP.

Stupid bar. HOW did this happen?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Susan!

Hil, have a great trip!

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

sj, the kitchen frenzy is part of the whole dinner party scenario. (At least the scenario that's in my head. I've never actually had one.)

But don't fear, in the scenario, after minor distasters, you emerge just in time looking fab and serving yummy food.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I just spilled over my spice rack. There are spices and glass everywhere, and my food processor won't work.

Now there is a classic Ginger move. I'm finding the play-by-play entertaining, although it's also making me hungry.

t Last week knocked over an open bottle of pills and an open bottle of vegetable oil, fortunately not in the same room.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Last week i broke a bottle of juniper berries in my pantry while looking for something else. I was chagrined because, while I couldn't remember why I had juniper berries, I was pretty sure they were expensive.

I've been looking for spices in plastic containers. They don't seem to exist.

Lilty's dinner party scenario exists in my head, too. So you are clearly heading towards triumph, sj.
