I'm leaving for Israel in 3 hours.
Well, I'm leaving for the airport in 3 hours. I'm actually leaving the country in nine hours. I keep checking to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.
I keep checking my suitcase, like every five minutes, to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.
Excited now.
I started my day with a haircut.
Mom was like "I can't stand it in your face like that."
I pretended my doubts and stuff were in the cut hair...I'll let y'all know if it helps.
Wow, Hil, have a great time! Take lots of pictures and good notes so we can hear all about it.
have fun Hil!
the dinner party will be great, sj. you have a bunch of cool guests that will be there.
My BIL's knee is better, his elbow isn't ( he didn't ice the elbow) so they are takeing him to the doctor. I am guessing he is just needs to RICE everyone for a few days. I will met one sister in SF and the other will join us later.
So my allergies have been kicking my ass all morning, and I am just zoned out.
I move my keyboard, and FIND MY ALLERGY PILL.
I took it out and everything and just forgot to take it.
God, I feel freaking dumb.
It's well documented that allergies eat your brain, Erin. Not your fault.
Susan, I'm very happy for you!
You know, I work from home. I should NOT spend Monday mornings stuck in traffic hell. Paul went back to sleep for "fifteen more minutes" this morning after changing the babygirl, and the alarm never went off. So I had to take him into work or else let him take the car.
We failed to check the traffic map, and got stuck in "Gee, we've closed I-5 for a motorcade for a few minutes" traffic.
Sigh.
Also, my clean underwear is on my work computer for some reason. I must have set it there while getting dressed and forgotten to put it on.
I'm preparing to pay for my hostel beds, too. My friend is picking up all transportation (air and rail), and I think the hotel in Florence (due to my needing a room so she can, erm,
reunite
with her boyfriend). Beyond that, I want to be able to pay if I can/need to. So I'm figuring high (Paris could be expensive) and thinking about $30-35 a night for hostels. So, about $300 just in case for hostels. Likely less, because we'll be doing a few overnight trains, too.
I'm just stunned that the news is
so
good. The most I'd really been hoping for was that the cancer had been reduced, or at least stopped growing, so that they'd continue with the chemo.
