I have had coffee, and I'm still completely zonked. I didn't sleep especially well last night, and am groggy and slow this morning.
PLus, my allergies are acting up. I thinking I'm just going to read on-line books today, in between whatever projects the temp job has for me. So far today, it's been alphabetizing things.
I can do that.
Want to go home and go back to bed....
I just wish it could be mine. We always had a cat or two, but after the last two, my mom said no more, and got birds. Stoopid birds. Can't cuddle them. Don't even want to try.
But I have no doubt she'll be taken care of. Probably by people who will notice sooner that she's drinking your grape ginger ale when you aren't looking.
Cindy, I wish I could. My mom is one of my best friends. She is driving across the country with me at the end of July, so that should be fun.

Heh, not a bad plan, Perkins. She'd probably hide for a few days at least. Unfortunatly, a cat can only go unnoticed in a trailer for so long.

Of course with the birds and the cat the number of pets in the house would have increased, but probably only briefly.
OK, enough of Monday, let's move on to Tuesday already.
i'm okay with this because not only will moanday be over, but it will officially be the first day of summer and my birthday. though the latter does tend to suck. so maybe tuesday isn't such a great idea...
No, no tiggy, our first day of summer-y, solstice-y, cusp of Gemini/Cancer-y bday shall be joyous! (Not least because I'm taking the day off work)
As the very-nearly-birthday-girl (well, one of them), I hereby decree that Monday WILL stop beating up on my Lovely Bitches!

Nora, driving in the Boston would freak anyone out! Even if they drove more than "rarely"!
My parents once got in a huge fight while on vacation because they were trying to find Graceland and my mom couldn't find it on the map and my dad's being all "it's there, just look" and my mom snapping back, yadda yadda, about to get really ugly -
And then they finally figure out that my dad's map is from 1972.
