Cool thanks!

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Woohoo! I found the box that had my tiaras in them, and kind of unpacked it, and the box that had my smut in it. (That one I did unpack.)
Smut and tiaras. Buffista basics?
My radiator repair is apparently incomplete. It's like meatball surgury, sometimes you miss a nick on the under side of the colon.
Hey, Dan -- I've been meaning to tell you, I just read a report at work this week, which says that about 84% of people with diabetes think that they have their glucose level controlled, but in reality, only about one-third actually do.
And I know you've mentioned in the past that you've been able to keep your blood sugar levels stable, so I just wanted to say: (1) good for you!, and (2) more people with diabetes should be like you.
Happy Belated Birthday, Cass!
Ellie is such a sweet, wee baby!
Happy Birthday, Beathen!
Lily's big toothless smile has killed me with its cuteness.

Not all that stable, I went over 6.5% in the last test, but as I'm now on my 3rd doctor in the last four A1c tests, my complaints about overnight glucose finally were heard and they've given me Metformin as well as Avandia, and it's getting me closer to that golden 100 before eating.
It baffles me to no end that anyone can be diabetic and not know about the A1c.
Oh, and anyone else here that is diabetic? Wal-Mart has a good basic meter for $8, and the strips are $22 for 50 count. If you don't have any insurance paying for them, I highly recommend the device. It uses AAA batteries, even. Oh! and the strips come individually wrapped in foil, in sets of five. They have a notch to open easily, and lay flat to fit nicely in the pouch that's not only included, but actually fits the device. In any case, the price makes it an attractive second meter.
I am exhausted. I'm at my parents' now, and I was doing laundry because I need to pack (leaving for Israel in two days), and the sink got clogged and the basement got flooded. Spent about an hour cleaning it up. Luckily, as this is far from the first time this has happened, there's nothing valuable on the floor, but there was still a ton of junk on the floor that's probably going to get all mildewy.
Hil, a dehumidifier and a fan blowing on it are your only hope.
Hey y'all.
Hil, I hope everything gets cleaned up.
Home from closing-night party. Got tired and felt on the edge of melt-down, so came home early and am watching Eddie Izzard. Life is much better.
