What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We stayed in Waikiki and explored the Big Island some. There's a Polynesian Center that's good for learning about the culture and stuff. And there are some coffee places (like, that grow coffee, not just serve it). And snorkeling! You must snorkel.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The only bras whose underwires don't ever give out on me are VS. I missed underwires while I was nursing. I loves my support, I do.

Happy Birthday, Cass!!!!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Doesn't JavaCat go to Hawaii every so often? She's usually great with the see-and-do suggestions.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Something just occurred to me from completely out of left field - a couple of days (a week?) ago, someone (either in here or Natter) was asking whether Joaquin Phoenix's scarred lip is recent or something from birth (ie harelip). I don't remember seeing anyone answer (and no longer remember who asked), but I was remembering when he did the movie Space Camp (still calling himself Leaf Phoenix at the time) back in '86, and I don't remember the scar then. (But can't find pics to back up my memory).

Punishingly Intricate

Anybody here been to Hawaii? GF and I are planning a trip for Oct./Nov. timeframe and have no idea where to go or anything.

When I went last December, Kat & Lori & Consuela all gave me some good tips, so you might want to ask in Natter.

I was just on Oahu and had a great time. Waikiki is super tourist-y but in a way that was funny to me plus there were also some nice quiet beachy parts of it.

I found a lot of good ideas of things to do in the Hawaiin Airlines magazine:

dag, I really want to back there this year...

someone (either in here or Natter) was asking whether Joaquin Phoenix's scarred lip is recent or something from birth (ie harelip).

From IMDb's bio page about him:

Contrary to popular belief, the scar on his lip is not the result of a repaired cleft lip or palate. It is simply a birth scar. Phoenix has stated in interviews that, while pregnant with him, his mother felt a sharp pain one day, and he was born with a scar on his lip.
