Fiber One:

Hi back, libkitty! (sorry, I posted and ran, as I will do again tonight.)

Susan, your DH's photos are marvelous. Annabel is adorable, and I really like the ones of the flowers with the light behind them, so the petals are in many shades with the darkest, most colorful part being where the petals overlap. Also love the bird house (that's what it is?) in the sky. It's all so green; yum.

askye, how big is this contraption? Could you maybe put it into the sink and run water onto or into it while your cat watches, so it gets the idea, then turn off the faucet and leave it there to percolate (or whatever) a little? Dunno about your cats, but mine are often Of Very Little Brain and don't make connections between things easily, especially when it's about changing a habit.

((vw)) ((ms havisham & Cabil)) ((Susan's father)) g'night.

All is well that ends in pizza.

The local PBS station is showing a Cat Stevens performance that's been sitting in a vault for 25 years.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm going to try and get some sleep without the nasty meds that have been making me feel awful. Wish me sleep~ma.

Hey. New board.

Sleep~ma indeed.

I'm writing my first paper for a teacher who actually expects me to be good in a LONG time. Four years as one of the most Englishy amongst a lot of technical students has spoiled me, but now its over, and i'm skeered. So writing-skills-ma would be appreciated at the moment.

Your tag here.

Having never had a feline companion, I never knew cats preferred drinking from running water.

That's weird.

Hey. New board.

It's good to be good. It's better to be lucky.

Heh. Thanks. I think.

Actually, I feel the paper is going well. I spat out about two and a half pages without even meaning to since the last time I posted. I'm not sure what exactly she's looking for from these papers, so I'm sort of shooting in the dark (she'll probably talk about it more tomorrow, but I may not have time to revise after tomorrow's class, so let's hope I'm shooting in the right general direction at least) but, other than that, I think it's pretty good.

Honestly, my main concerns with this grad school program are 1) Learn a lot and 2) Get my degree. I'm already learning a lot in this class, and I can't imagine I'll fail it. So if she doesn't love it and gives me a B- or C or whatever? (shrug) Oh well.
